Half-Bakes http://www.caferock.org/bloghome.php?blogid=2 These Ideas Need a Little More Time to Cook en-us Sun, 6 May 2007 11:14:48 GMT Thu, 26 Apr 2007 00:06:38 GMT Chris's PHP RSS script ckrock@gmail.com Mormon Version of Chrononauts http://www.caferock.org/blogentry.php?blogid=2&entryid=213 We liked playing Chrononauts and we were thinking how cool it would be to create a Mormon version of it. Alyssa suggested making a web version of it first, which is a great idea (although it means that I'd have to use Flash--bleagh.)

Mormon Video SceneIt. http://www.caferock.org/blogentry.php?blogid=2&entryid=208 The title pretty much says it all. It would be cool to do a version of SceneIt using all the different Mormon movies out there. Hmm, I bet with a little effort, I could figure out how to do it.

Ethan's Blog http://www.caferock.org/blogentry.php?blogid=2&entryid=169 We need to come up with a name for Ethan's blog. It's not just going to be his blog over time... it will be a place for all our kids. So, what are some good names? Here's a few I've thought of in no particular order:

  • The Jungle Gym
  • Monkeys on the Bed
  • Monkey Business
  • Banana Fana Fo Fana
  • The Whole Caboodle

Other ideas:

  • The Sandbox
  • The treehouse
  • This little piggy
  • Crayon Treasure Maps
  • Cardboard Rockets

Beatles Covers http://www.caferock.org/blogentry.php?blogid=2&entryid=149 It's so funny that we talked to Wayne about Beatles covers last night because this reminded me of the project I wanted to do: redo all of the Beatles albums purely in covers. That was a project I started a long time ago and I think it would still be fun to do. It's funny because I was even thinking about this project earlier in the day and thought about posting that project here in half-bakes.

Honey, is it okay to put personal projects on here? Or is this intended only for projects that we work on together?

Board Game Database http://www.caferock.org/blogentry.php?blogid=2&entryid=41 Chris and I have been discussing the possibility of developing a system for classifying board games. I'll let him comment more on the system... but we talk about how once we've developed this system we'll catalog our game collection and post reviews of our games and what not online. Kind of like our DVD database.
